Fuelling the dream builders

In the heart of Auckland, Meebz Coffee Roasters are fuelling the dreams of our youth, via I Have a Dream. 

How? By caffeinating and supporting the team who are working alongside our tamariki and rangatahi to create positive outcomes.

I Have a Dream is a charity who provides personal support, opportunities, and resources to help Dreamers (our youth) realise their potential and achieve success in their educational and life journeys. They do this through the support of caring adults - the Navigators. Navigators offer in-class educational support and a variety of outside-of-class activities, from social and community-building events to mentoring programs, all centred around building the Dreamers’ confidence and skills.

This work is rewarding. But that doesn’t mean it’s not tiring!

When they first partnered together, Meebz paid-forward a coffee machine for the I Have a Dream headquarters. The team were elated.

Since then the coffee machine, and the delicious coffee beans Meebz has continued to pay-forward ever since, as a source of support for the supporters. As well as that caffeine boost we all love, it acts as a reminder to the Navigators that they matter too.

To date Meebz has donated $987 worth of coffee and equipment, directly impacting the lives of 247 individuals. 

The partnership between I Have a Dream and Meebz Coffee Roasters highlights the positive impact businesses can have when they give back to their communities. This collaboration is not just about providing coffee; it’s about supporting the dreams and aspirations of the next generation. It’s a reminder that small acts of kindness can add up to significant change.

As I Have a Dream continues to grow and support more Dreamers, the support of partners like Meebz ensures that the journey is not taken alone. Together, they are making a meaningful difference, one cup of coffee at a time.
