Social snags

With this blustery, wet weather there’s nothing better than a nice warm meal in a cosy space. For many of our locals however, this can be hard to come by.

To make life a little easier for our homeless and needy, the generosity of The Snag Co. and Under the Stars Tauranga (UTS), helps provide them with access to a meal, a shower, and social connection twice a week.

UTS is a charity who supports the homeless and needy in their community through meals, showers and kindness, with a lunch on a Thursday and a dinner on a Saturday. To achieve this they need the support of volunteers and donations, which is where The Snag Co. often come to the table (literally!)

Thanks to the generous pay-it-forwards of their corporate partners and their own generosity, The Snag Co. recently paid-forward $200 worth of meat to be used in these meals.
