If you're part of our community you've probably read about the community Koha dinners put on by The Atrium Cafe in Otumoetai, Tauranga. We've seen so many beautiful stories of generosity come from these, but one recent one really hit home.
A single mum of 7 was grieving the loss of her husband and was given the chance to take some time out, take her mind off recent events and sit down and enjoy a restaurant quality meal together with her young family.
It's hard to imagine what this mum must have been going through and how relieving it must have been to have a night off preparing dinner to be served restaurant quality food and have quality time with her children. It's incredibly touching to think how a bunch of small act of kindness from people like you and I can be pooled together to make such a big difference. Like Helen Keller said, "Alone we can do so little; but together we can do so much."

For the Atrium it's an easy initiative to be part of as they simply use the paid-forward funds to produce more of what's already on their menu. Thanks to the generosity of Victor, The Atrium Team and their awesome customers, we can help more local people like this brave Mum.
Thanks to everyone that's been part paying-it-forward for a better future at one of our our business partners . Please be sure to visit them and pay-it-forward by topping up your bill with your chosen amount (every little bit matters, whether it's 50c or $5). These stories matter so much, as they are what inspires the pay-it-forward cycle to begin again.
