Babies are little miracles! But they also need a lot of care and attention as well as clothes, equipment and products. For some, getting these bits together to prepare for a baby’s arrival can be a daunting task.
This is how the Little Heroes Project began in 2021. Inspired by love and whanau, they started by giving away baby-care products to a Teen Parent Unit but has grown from there to offer baby essentials to people suffering financial and material hardship.
Wildflour bakery paid-it-forward $150 of their bakery products to be distributed to Little Heroes Project’s recipients or organisations involved with caring for little miracles.
Little Heroes Project then passed those treats on to the nurses at the Tauranga Hospital Children’s Ward as a thank you for all their hard work supporting newborns and parents.
The nurses were thrilled and said: “Thank you Wildflour and GoGenerosity for making this possible.”
Wildflour, along with their corporate partner First Mortgage Trust, were happy to help Little Heroes Project's Heroes.
You, too, can be part of this generosity by paying-it-forwards when you shop at Wildflour. Just add a little to your bill to keep the pay-it-forwards flowing.
