Some people believe that love makes the world go round. But what about when your home is lacking in it? That’s when you need the love and support of others even more so.
For women and children who need a safe place as a result of domestic violence - physical, emotional and psychological - Tauranga Women’s Refuge are there. A not-for-profit community organisation, the team provide respite, support and care, helping to bring a sense of love back into these women and their children’s lives.
To help provide care, Love Rosie (found on Ninth Ave, Tauranga) generously paid-it-forward $200 worth of meals to Women’s Refuge.They were treated to vegetarian gnocchi caponata (an Italian delicacy!) with pecan caramel slice for dessert. Yum!

Partnering with Love Rosie to meet needs in the community was Spark Business Hub Bay of Plenty. Together they were able to offer 20 women and kids a delicious meal.
