A festive fuel up

We all know that sinking feeling when you get in the car and find the fuel gauge has crept its way down to empty, right when you’re about to go somewhere that requires a full tank.

For the volunteers at Age Concern Tauranga who travel frequently to provide support and friendship to the elderly, this is probably a more common experience than they’d like.

‍

Tanya, manager of Age Concern Tauranga, has been saving up the Z Energy vouchers paid-forward for the last couple of months so she could send them out to volunteers during the most needed time of the year - Christmas.

‍

Thanks to the generosity of Z Energy’s customers, as well as generous donations from their corporate partners S&L Land Specialists and Spark Business Hub Bay of Plenty, Tanya had over $1000 worth of fuel vouchers. This was enough to provide every volunteer with $50 worth of fuel as a seasonal surprise. They were happily received by the volunteers as shared below.

What a heart-warming way to end this year’s stories of generosity, we look forward to seeing the many that 2023 bring!
